simon551
Hi all, Is there a way to merge table cells as you might do in excel? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/48688-solved-merge-cells-in-table/ Share on other sites
Psycho
Yes, but this is the wrong forum for that question. This is PHP, you should be asking in the HTML Help forum. But to answer your question, you use rowspan and colspan to "merge" cells. MadTechie
unless you mean mysql tables Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/48688-solved-merge-cells-in-table/#findComment-238526 Share on other sites
Psycho
unless you mean mysql tables I didn't think of that. But, 1) I wouldn't have any idea of what merging cells in a db table would mean and 2) mergin cells in excell is a "visual" function as opposed to a "data" function. Perhaps the OP will respond back and clarify.
