[SOLVED] Displaying all Pics in a folder

I would like to write a script that displays all photos (jpg) from a folder.  I want to be able to load photos into a folder without renaming them and have a script sort them and display them alphabetically.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Here is a tutorial on how to create a directory list in PHP, it would be pretty smple to modify it to just search for jpg images and display them.

Is the first line where I point to the image folder?  I don't get any errors but also don't get any results.

 

$array=glob('http://www.mysite.com/images/*');
foreach($array as $v){
echo '<img src="'.$v.'">';

You need to put the relative path to your images from where the php file is running. It cannot read a directory through http.

 

taith, I had never seen that before, very handy indeed!

 

One thing though, if you want to have the images in alphabetical order you will want to use that foreach loop to dump them into an array and then sort the array.
