[SOLVED] echo string error

Recommended Posts

I can't get the "<<Previous" part to show up correctly when I open it with the browser. All it pulls up is "<" and cuts out "<Previous". I tried to escape the < using the back slash but the browser prints the backslash as well. Any Ideas?

<?php
echo "<a href=\"".$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']."?page=$prev\"><\<\Previous</a> ";
?>
