integrating with Betfair API??

Hi, wondering if anybody has got 5 minutes to have a look at http://bdp.betfair.com/exchdevelopers.php and tell me where I need to start to integrate the FREE services with my own site.

 

I am reasonably competent in PHP/MySQL and can create fairly complex scripts with guidance from reference material when needed. I am hoping somebody can tell me what I need to be learning to be able to implement the services offered by betfair and call information from the servers to display in  my own scripts?

 

Any advice and / or links to suitable tutorials would be much appreciated.
