Hey guys. Can anyone expain what happens in detail to a HTTP post request which is sent by the client to the server?

i have to pay particular attention to the role of the internet stack protocol layers:

Application layer

Transport layer

Network layer

Link layer

Physical layer

What if you were to run something like Ethereal, though I think it's called WireShark now.

Anyway what it does is captures packets and if you do a post via HTTP it should show you the stack and hopefully you'll be able to pick out some info from it
