Hi Guys,

 

This is driving me crackers so could do with some help please.

 

Im trying to parse an xml file from an external domain/website using php. This xml is stored on a https connection and Im not provided with a direct link to the file (Eg. www.example.com/getXMLfile.php?type=xml&connection=https). When opening the link the xml file starts to download but I want to parse the file directly on the remote server.

 

Does anyone have an example of where they have done this, or something similar before please?

 

The xml is quite chunky in size too so dom / xpath solutions are out of the question.
