adamhhh
right i hope this is the right forum- we have html files which contain standard php code (including php tags etc). Is there a way to set up your web server to read these .html files to recognise the php? at the moment its just printing out the code. And nope we cant simply rename to .php
wildteen88
If you have access to the servers main configuration file (httpd.conf) open it up for editing and scroll down untill you find the the following line: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php Now just add .html to the list, make sure you add a space after .php, so the line should now look like this: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html Now the save the httpd.conf and restart Apache. Now re-run you .html file that has php code in it and it should now be parsing the PHP code.
