these pages

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/innodb-overview.html

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/innodb-restrictions.html

BUT, is there any people here who have experience with the use of innodb-tables?

and for those with experience, can you give me in short some reasons why i...

I've used them. InnoDB offers transactions, row level locking, foreign key constraints, and crash recovery. Some drawbacks are tablespace administration, no full-text indexes, no GIS data, and a larger cost if you purchase support.
