Executing a script on a new page

I'm using cutenews, and when I click 'read more' on the short version of the story, the rest is displayed. How would I make it so that when I click 'read more' it displays the whole story, but on a new page?

Here's the template for the short version of each news article:

Basically I'm wondering what the code is to open a page and then run a script thats relevant to the previous page
