awaywithwords
Hi, I work for a small not-for-profit and we have a website with a members access section. We are in the process of scrapping the old and starting a new one. We really don't have any decent scripting knowledge and I've been looking around and have found a number of different options at www.hotscripts.com for User Authentication scripts and programs. So my question is - should I buy an actual program that I can customise without too much problem? And if so, which one? Or try a freeware version? All we really want is a simple login section for multiple users, that gives access to pages on the website where members can download documents and other info. Something that can be easily managed is a plus and being able to customise the pages to match the look of our website would be good too. There is just so much out there I'm not really sure where to start. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! chronister
Drop me an email at the address listed in my profile. I have a simple login script already written and it would not take much to add a couple things more to it. I would be more than happy to assist you with this.
