hi everyone im new so... ya

Im using Abyss Web Server and i wanted to add forums to my site. I installed PHP5, at first it didnt work then i got php-cgi.exe and now php works on my site. So i went to www.PHPBB.com and downloaded PHPBB2. it worked but then i need to set everything up. When i get to the database part i had no clue what that was. I looked around and now i have MySQL5. i installed and enterd the info in the forum setup. It says that it won't exept that database because its not listed in the php. I found from here that i need to edit the php.ini and move a .dll. i did the .dll then i noticed that i don't have a php.ini

What do i do?

please help

It seem you are using Win server what is not the best solution. But actually it is not my busines, just remember to read all windows related notes. Second thing is that you are using cgi version of php that work slower and have some limitations.

Now about php.ini file - you should put it to some "visible" folder like  c:\windows or something similar.

Hope this will help.
