So I got my dropdown to work with grabbing the data from a database, works great in Firefox...but go into IE and of course, it doesn't work!

Basically it lists all the data, but it's next to an empty dropdown - http://www.pacesettertravel.com/pacesetter/index.php?id=tpres&subid=presentations

This may be more of an HTML question...but anyone know what's going on here?

<?php
$query  = "SELECT * FROM events ORDER BY date, time";
$result = mysql_query($query);
echo "<select name=\"event\">";
while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){
if ($row['date'] >= date('Y-m-d')){
	displayEvents($row);
	echo "<option name=\"description\" value=\"$row[city] - $row[description] $row[date]\" class=\"formstyles\" />$row[city] - $row[description]</option>";
	}
}
echo "</select>";
?>
