clown[NOR]
I'm working on a log in system... an every time a user refreshes the admin panel within a period of 5 minutes i use the setcookie again.. just to update the time... but something weird just happened... it suddenly stopped working... then I tried deleting all cookies from my computer, and then it suddenly worked again... should I delete the cookies and then set them again? Thanks In Advance - Clown Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/51573-simple-cookie-question/ Share on other sites
npsari
I never dealt with cookies till now But why would you delete them if it is working now Just keep it going if error happened again you need to react Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/51573-simple-cookie-question/#findComment-253984 Share on other sites
clown[NOR]
well... what I think is that if i dont delete them first the size of the cookie just increase... and sooner or later it will happen to the user also... something I don't want to happen.... npsari
Good point I would love to help you if i knew about cookies though, your question is a little vague cus, we have no error to stand on or a specific problem to hang on I would say delte the cookies, and put a Sorry small sign to your users if a problem accured and start fresh Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/51573-simple-cookie-question/#findComment-254016 Share on other sites
