simple cookie question

I'm working on a log in system... an every time a user refreshes the admin panel within a period of 5 minutes i use the setcookie again.. just to update the time... but something weird just happened...

 

it suddenly stopped working... then I tried deleting all cookies from my computer, and then it suddenly worked again... should I delete the cookies and then set them again?

But why would you delete them if it is working now

well... what I think is that if i dont delete them first the size of the cookie just increase... and sooner or later it will happen to the user also... something I don't want to happen....

though, your question is a little vague

 

cus, we have no error to stand on

or a specific problem to hang on

 

I would say delte the cookies, and put a Sorry small sign to your users if a problem accured

 

and start fresh
