jumpenjuhosaphat
I am trying to get ABCDrawHTML to work on my home computer...It's been a bit of trouble to say the least. There isn't much documentation on the program, but it's a pretty nice piece of software. What I need to do is use PHP to access this program. The representative said that it is a COM component, which doesn't mean a lot to me. He said that I would just need to create and object, but I'm not sure how that would work. I have the program installed on my computer, and I guess it has been registered during the installation, so how do I access this program from PHP? If it helps, this is the example code that they gave for ASP applications: Set thePage = Server.CreateObject("ABCDrawHTML2.Page") thePage.Url = "http://www.usa.gov/" thePage.Save Server.MapPath("usagov.jpg") I will be accessing this software on my home computer from my website. The software requires windows and activeX to run. I have already written the website side script, I just need my home computer to produce and serve up an image produced by this program. Thanks for any help, windows is incredibly complex, and when instructions aren't included, I have a heck of a time trying to figure anything out. Also, if it means anything, I am using the latest version of WAMP server on my home computer, running Apache 2.2.4. MadTechie
ABCDrawHTML is mainly used with ASP .NET and VB, i haven't see it used via PHP.. either way you can try CLI or COM review these COM exec Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/51796-solved-creating-an-object/#findComment-255205 Share on other sites
