How to do a 301 redirect for a joomla site Search engine friendly link

Hi!,

Am looking at getting a php powerd joomla webiste working with the search engine friendly links... the link is at present something like http://www.domain.com/option,com_sobi2/Itemid,47.html  I want to setup a 301 redirect to a shorter URL something like http://www.domain.com/directory/index.php or index.html

 

What is the code that i need to add into the .htaccess file?

 

Can some please assist me .
