So this may sound like a dumb question but here it goes anyway:

I want to make $room_id = $_GET["room"]

BUT i need it called on another page. How can i do this?

I.E.

http://www.domain.com/index.php?room=2

$room_id = 2 ^^

Now i need $room_id 's variable to transfer to another php file... that is not called directly by the url.. any suggestions?

Sessions are the way forward.

file.php

<?php

session_start(); // This line is VITAL ~ possibly what you missed out

$_SESSION["variable"] = "value";

header("Location: otherfile.php");

?>

otherfile.php

<?php

session_start();

echo $_SESSION["variable"];

?>
