phpsql1 Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 I do have about 400 records in an excel file that I want to transfer to a MySql database. I was adiviced to save the file as csv and then import it with phpMyAdmin. I already have php installed in computer, am just wondering if installing phpMyAdmin will affect the original installed php. Caesar Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 Installing phpMyAdmin does not in any way affect your PHP installation. phpMyAdmin is simply a database management application (A GUI to manage your MySQL database).
