I am working in PHP and am doing a query from a database. It returns a name and a category (e.g., Demo1 (name), Category1 (category)).

A typical search by return this:

Name            Category

ABC1            Category1

ABC2            Category1

ABC3            Category1

DEF1            Category2

DEF2            Category2

DEF3            Category2

I would like the resultant HTML output to look like this:

Category 1

    ABC1

    ABC2

    ABC3

Category 2

    DEF1

    DEF2

    DEF3

I have a "while statement loop" that prints each line, but I can’t figure out how to get the category to show up only once and then start up again when a new instance of the category begins.

Thanks in advance.
