include files (I am new to PHP)

hi,

 

I am new to this and this is my first question on this board.

 

I am learning how to insert information to my database but I am getting the following error msg:

 

Warning: include(includes/db_conn.txt)[function include]: failed to open stream.No such file or directory.

 

and

 

Warning include()[function include]: Failed opening 'includes/db_conn.txt' for inclusion (include_path='c:\PHP\includes') in E:\apache\apache2\htdocs\book\newcustomer.php on line 39.

 

 

Please help, I have looked at every yahoo or google site and cant find the answer.
