User's Online Problems

Hey

 

I'm having trouble with my user's online code. I know how to do it, but it doesnt seem to work...

 

That is called whenever there is a new page:

mysql_query("UPDATE phpbb2_users SET lastseen=NOW() WHERE username=$user");

 

And this is in the user's online column:

$time = time() - 60 * 5;
		$sql = "SELECT username FROM phpbb2_users WHERE lastseen >= $time";
		$result=mysql_query($sql);
		if ($result)
		{
		echo('<ul>');
		while($users_online=mysql_fetch_array($result))
		{
		echo('<li><img src="images/img06.gif"></img>'.$users_online['username'].'</li>');
		}
		echo('</ul>');
		}
		else if ($result=='')
		{
		echo("No Users Online");
		}

 

If anyone can help it will be much appriciated.
