file handling

I want several link on my php page
eg :
i'll have a link as follows

test C: Desktop (3 links)

now when i click on the link above
say My Documents
it opens all the files in that directory
i know the code to display the files

chdir("/wamp/www/test");
$dir=opendir(".");
while ($file=readdir($dir)) {
echo("$file<br>");
}

?>
my problems is how to get those link?maybe using <a href>
any help appreciated
