I know, the dreaded 500 error... a tidbit to read

A place I've been hosting at has told me to review and optimize my code, because I've complained about internal server errors non-stop throughout the days.

What I can't understand... is I only have around 100pages, each with no more than 3 phpincludes of small html files and no more than 300 visitors on the entire site at any one time.

I'm somewhat of a newbie, so does that seem like it would naturally create a high server load? Or are they just having that cup of coffee I want so bad right now and snickering at my noobish levels hopeing I'm accepting anything they say. Oh yeah, it REALLY happens a lot while trying to open phpmyadmin (both frames error 500):)

Maybe I am a newb, but I didn't think phpincludes were all that extremely intense. Did I over estimate the power of php, or was I probably wrong in assuming they used more than 100mhz servers?

Hahaha, that's what I'm thinking.

I asked the "Level II Support Technicians," the only way I know how to further optimize an include is to not use it at all. That's some serious optimization for you, GET RID OF IT! :)
