I'm using PHP 5.2.0.  If I use scandir with an FTP URL (ftp://username:password@domain.com/) I'm not seeing any subdirectories, just regular files.  The documentation states you should get the ., .., and any other subdirectories in the array which is returned.  Any idea why I'm not getting them?

Actually the only reason I found this problem is because of another one.  If I try to scandir on a subdirectory (ftp://username:password@domain.com/subdirectory) it tells me the subdirectory doesn't exist.

I've manually FTPed to the server and clearly see the subdirectories.  I'm connected in passive mode, same as PHP.  What's going on?
