danylo
Hi all, how do you store all the information inside _FILES[] when you do a post? How long does a file stay in the temp dir before you have to move it or it gets deleted? I need to know this because I want one php file to have the upload GUI and another to actually store the file on the server but I do not know how to pass the file information between the two. Thanks. Wildbug
"The file will be deleted from the temporary directory at the end of the request if it has not been moved away or renamed." -- PHP Manual on handling file uploads. You'll need to move or rename the files in the upload script before it exits. You can use serialize() to write out an array as a string value (and retrieve it via unserialize()) if you need to save an array between scripts.
