HELP!!! How to disable FTP in PHP Version 5.2.3 on Windows with IIS6

Hello all,

 

I am a newbie when it comes to PHP. I have just installed PHP Version 5.2.3 on my windows server for one of my clients and now my FTP server does not work. After some research, I found out that PHP has a built in FTP server and in Version 5.2.3 is enabled by default.

 

I have looked in the php.ini file and there is no mention of turning off FTP. When I run a script on my PHP install it shows that FTP is enabled.

 

How do I turn it off without recompiling php? It must be something very easy that I am overlooking.

 

I did the search and could not find anything about it.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
