Combining drag and drop ajax with Sajax

There is a cool script i found on the net that auto updates a database with the order of an unordered list.

but an unordered list is not what I am looking for because i am wanting to store lots of info in that place. I searched for a while and the only one i could find about drag and drop table rows is located at

It looks really nice, and it works well with what I have, but i need it to update to the database like the first script. If someone could point me in the right direction (go easy on me, i dont know much javascript at all) it would be really nice.

 

P.S. I would post some code that i TRIED on here, but im sure I pretty much effed it up completely.
