freeloader
Hi guys, I'm running a script that uses a mysql connect to my local database. The script runs on my local webserver (using wampserver). When I'm running one instance of the script, and I'm trying to start another one, it won't start until the first script is finished. When I run one session on FireFox and the other on Internet Explorer, it does work. Is there some setting I need to change to allow more then one session? Thanks in advance. freeloader
Take example.php. Example.php contains some functions doing mysql connects. Example.php runs on my local webserver, it's quite a long-lasting script, taking about 30 minutes on average. When I load example.php in my webbrowser, it runs ok and keeps running. When I open another tab and try to load example.php from there, it does nothing, just waits there, no error messages, waits until the first instance (example.php in another tab) is finished before starting itself. Now, when I run one instance of example.php on FireFox, and I load it again on Internet Explorer, they both run. So this must be something to do with a setting in either php or mysql allowing only one connection / session.
