Upgrading to PHP5

Hi,

 

Im required to upgrade our server to php5. The problem is im quite new to this sort of thing so i dont know where to start. Please be gentle guys.

 

Here are some server info that may help:

 

PHP 4.3.11

Zend Engine v1.3.0

Fedora Core 3 with Plesk 7.5

 

Ummm how do you check for mysql version?  ???
