Php and XSLT Process

Hi,

 

I have a problem running the following script, basically nothing happens at all! I don't ven get an error message.

// Create an XSLT processor
$xsltproc = xslt_create();

//setting the encoding
xslt_set_encoding($xsltproc,"ISO-8859-2");

// Perform the transformation
$result = xslt_process($xsltproc, 'UMS.xml', 'Get3.xsl');

// Detect errors
if (!$result) die ('XSLT processing error: '.xslt_error($xsltproc));

// Output the resulting HTML
echo $result;

// Destroy the XSLT processor
xslt_free($xsltproc);
?>

 

Now, my xslt and xml works perfectly with each other so I've checked that bit and they are all in the same folder.

 

I have also checked 4 different posts about the same issue in this Forum and I could find the answer to my problem..

 

 

PHP Version 4.3.9 running on Unix.

 

 

I was thinking it might be something to do with the php configuration.  Any suggestions or comments?

I have installed both:php-4.4.7 with:

Sablot-1.0.3

expat-2.0.1

 

and still nothing is working...

 

any body out there could perhaps give me some hints here?
