Small Question

I'm not sure I am doing this right.

$removedata = ("THIS IS A WARNING THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE IMMINENT OR

OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. REMEMBER SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS

PRODUCE TORNADOES..LISTEN FOR UPDATED WARNINGS.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ONTARIO RECOMMENDS TAKING COVER

IMMEDIATELY WHEN THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.");

$replacedata ="";

str_replace($removedata, $replacedata, $pagedata);

My PHP script reads the page, saves it to a txt file and emails it off. I need it to remove the part above before saving and emailing. I will be adding some other lines that need to be removed also.  Am I doing it right?
