I need to get the information from RFID reader, The question is if it is possible to get the information from the serial ports of remote computers using PHP ? Because PHP is the interpret language and actually it executes on the Server, or I misunderstood smth? per1os Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 If you had a 3rd party program on the remote computers you should be able to feed that into an xml file and simply retrieve that xml file by your php server. Other than that, yea, PERL would probably be the way to go, it is quite a bit more powerful than PHP.
