suppawok Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Hey, I am using a script called PHP Book Exchange which is awesome really. Well my site is at www.ncbookexchange.com The problem is that the contact forms in the help page and the contact forms when contacting a seller doesn't seem to work. I can't find any errors in the error log. Sadly I'm not sure how long it hasn't worked which is why the popularity has gone way down... I know the basics of php (like in a book I'm on page VII in terms of my knowledge). Any ideas? I know it worked at one point... Any help is MUCH appreciated. tippy_102 Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 If it used to work, and now, without touching anything, it doesn't, that would indicate something changed on the server end of things. You should ask your servers admin to see if anything has changed with the way they allow mail to be sent. Can you post the code for the form and the script that is called by the form? suppawok Posted July 11, 2007 Author Share Posted July 11, 2007 Hey, Well I looked through the code thinking I changed something important but didn't ifnd anything that was bad or changed. I sent some more test messages and lo-behold it works. However the messages I sent few days ago never came through and I sent some msgs to other sellers asking for a response to ensure the form is working. So the conclusion is that it was server-side. (btw it was hard to find a server that allowed custom PEAR modules to be installed.. so I'm not changing hosts just because of this ...
