However, the way the code is written, it temporarily writes the uploaded file to a temp folder. I was wondering what the benifits of this would be? And is the only benifit, if the connection was terminated or the upload interupted, the uncomplete files wouldn't be in the user directory? And if the use of the tmp diectory is not really needed for uploads, How could I alter the above code to not need the tmp directory? The reason I'm asking this is cause... the script works perfect, the only problem is I get rejects cause the upload can't write to the tmp directory. I've tried every possibility with permissions and the location of the tmp directory, but nothing made any difference, still rejected.
