graham23s
Hi GUys, on my registration form and in mysql i usually have 3 seperate fields: birthyear/birthday/birthmonth when it comes to storing the info into mysql is it best to store all 3 seperately or make it like: 0000-00-00 in the 1 field? thanks for any advice Graham Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/61089-solved-entering-monthday-and-year-of-birth-question/ Share on other sites
Wuhtzu
If all birthdays were after 1970 I would definitely use a timestamp but since they don't and I've heard about problems with negative timestamps i would go for the yyyy-mm-dd which mysql can "manipulate" with in queries...
