I have just set up a image verification field on my registration  form and i have been told to put a snippet of code into my process.php file however i don't know where to put it and if i need to take a few characters off it.

heres the code i need to put in:

<?php
   session_start();
   if(($_SESSION['security_code'] == $_POST['security_code']) && (!empty($_SESSION['security_code'])) ) {
      // Insert you code for processing the form here, e.g emailing the submission, entering it into a database.
      unset($_SESSION['security_code']);
   } else {
      // Insert your code for showing an error message here
   }
?>

And here is where it needs to go:

<?
/**
* Process.php
*
* The Process class is meant to simplify the task of processing
* user submitted forms, redirecting the user to the correct
* pages if errors are found, or if form is successful, either
* way. Also handles the logout procedure.

that top portion is the actual test basically what oyu can do is insert anything you want into that if that says Yes That pic matched, it can be nothing at all, but for the else you should make something in it.  Most commonly registration/login you make an array of errors and so in the else you could say $error['secruitycode'] = "Security Code was Not Valid,";

and then before processing you do something like

<?php
if(empty($error)){
//Process no errors
}
else{
foreach($error as $value){
echo "<span class=\"error\">".$value."</span><br/>\n";
include("form.html"); //This is the file that has the registration form
}
?>

If you use that sort of error method you can alert users to problems by displaying them and then replace the form with the values.
