Im not sure what im missing, its just a select form sending data to php

the select page is this:

$con = mysql_connect("xxxx","xxxx","xxxx");

mysql_select_db("update1", $con);

$sql = mysql_query("SELECT fname FROM JohnRobberts");

echo "<form action='http://www.4tenproductions.com/jrform.php'>";

echo "<select name='teamchoice'>";

while($row = mysql_fetch_array($sql))

{

echo "<option value='" . $row['fname'] . "'>" . $row['fname'] . "</option>";

}

echo "</select>";

echo "<input type='submit' value='GO'>";

echo "</form>";

 

?>

 

 

 

the form page is this:

<FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="http://www.4tenproductions.com/jrinput.php">

<?php

$team = $_POST["teamchoice"];

echo $team;

?>

</form></html>

 

 

 

the name of the select box is teamchoice so i dont see why that variable wont show up in php.

any thoughts?
