There is a post about Exporting from Mysql to Excel, http://www.phpfreaks.com/print.php?cmd=tutorial&tut_id=114. I was wondering if someone would tell me if I can use this script on the backend.

Here is an excerpt from the tutorial that led me to believe that this script might be for the frontend user and not the backend. "Basically the automatic download just reads the page, places the contents in the file you named in line #2, and prompts the user for a download."

What I want to do is export a mysql database table  to Accounting daily in an Excel spreadsheet. Is this the script to use?

Thanks
