kirkrawlins
I am trying to edit a site that I didn't build. I am a designer with 11 years interactive exprience. So I can edit code and understand some basics, but I'm certainly not a programmer. I think the site is dynamically generating a menu. I found this code in the "header.inc" file: <div id='header_nav'> <ul> <?=createMenu($thispage);?> </ul> </div> And in the "dbconn.php" file I found this: $db_location = "mysql299.secureserver.net"; This file also includes the user and login for the database. But, I have no idea how to get to this and how to edit it. I'm simply trying to add a menu item to the navigation and attach an HREF so the menu option goes somewhere. I know that part of this is a MySQL question but can anyone give me some basic direction that might help me figure this out? Thanks in advance for your help. - kr
lightningstrike
Does your webhost give you access to phpMyAdmin through cpanel, whm, vdeck, plesk, ensim etc? If so then you can easily view the contents of the database through phpMyAdmin's visual interface.
