php_novice2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Hi, I would like to my php code to generate an xml file of the form: <positions unitName=...> <position time=... lat=... long=.../> <position time=... lat=... long=.../> ... </positions> <positions unitName=...> <position time=... lat=... long=.../> <position time=... lat=... long=.../> .... </positions> .... I've got some code that would generate the block <positions> <position time=... lat=... long=... /> <position time=... lat=... long=... /> .... </positions> $doc = new DomDocument('1.0'); $node = $doc->createElement("positions"); $parnode = $doc->appendChild($node); $parnode->setAttribute("unitNum", $unitNum); $node = $doc->createElement("position"); $newnode = $parnode->appendChild($node); $newnode->setAttribute("time", $time); $newnode->setAttribute("lat", $lat) $newnode->setAttribute("long", $long); So far the code only generate 1 lot of <positions>, how do I make another one? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/63036-generating-xml-files/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
