Gmunky Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I just installed WAMP on a windows 2000 and I'm having trouble viewing any of my scripts including just plain html files. when i try to view the page, I get an error saying: 'You are not authorized to view this page' HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden Does anyone know what is causing this?!? If you want to view it from other computers on the network, you need to edit httpd.conf Look in the file for something similar to what you would find in a .htaccess file. Look for the following: # # Controls who can get stuff from this server. # # onlineoffline tag - don't remove Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 And add the following: # This is your computers local area network address.
