Recommended Posts

Hello,

Due to some restriction on my host , I have to rename my files extension from .php to .php5 to use php5 new features ,

On my test pc I use IIS and I already defined the new extension in the "home directory" this work fine with IE7 but with firefox it display the download dialog whenever I try to browse .php5 on localhost

any advice ?

thanks

Hi

I cant say for sure, but my best guess would bcheck your server config scripts.

Maybe IE are a bit more lenient than FF (go figure) and will server what ever you tell it, but FF will only server what is in the web server config scripts.

Like I said just a guess, hope it helps ;)
