Zetusko
I was installing PHP onto my computer when it asked me to enter the address of my SMTP. Well, I know that it means "Simple Mail Transfer Protocol" but I'm not sure what to enter. The default is 'localhost' and the default from address for the mail function is 'me@localhost.com'. Do I leave it as it is or change it to something else? And if I have to change it to something else what's an example? wildteen88
Are you planning on sending any emails with PHP? If no leave at its defualt value. Otherwise change it to the SMPT server you are going to use. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/6401-smtp/#findComment-23197 Share on other sites
