Hi there,

Wow, I love this forum title.

This is exactly what I needed :)

Ok, so I drew up the DB outline in my own words, features, etc.

What is the next 2 steps I need done before it goes to the programmer?

Is it DB design, or does he do that?

How much do those guys usually charge?

Thanks

Michelle

basically programming comes in both way db design and coding when i work for some project i do all. the information needed by the programmer maybe DFD or simly some explanation about the systems objective the beginning user and the end user

we charge differently like in my case im in asia so the value of dollars is higher so those guys leaving in my place will consider much smaller payment but maybe if we move at say USA we will charge the same.

and for your question how much it depends on the scope of the project

along with programmers you should (if not on own) have a design for the website. or you could pay to have it done... some people are expensive some are not...

for programming, if you are lucky, you will have some cheap (trying to get their folio up and in need of some work) or you will have good, firm programmers that cost a 'little' bit more

Your requirements seems not high. You can get this done in $100-150 maybe. You should try rentacoder.com or getacoder.com. Especially RAC is very secure for both buyers and coders. You can even ask for expert garrantee from a coder, so no chance for frauds.
