confirm delete

The below code updates information in a table. I'm trying to add some type of validation to confirm that the user wants to continue with the update. The javascript is not doing what I want it to it makes the page white then I get a header error.

 

any ideas how I can do this thank you

its impossible to do it just as you want i guess do a confirmation before passing the value the way you want it  will work as ajax so i think it wont work so again try to do confirmation before sending the data
