Plaindonut Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 I'm trying to use Access 2007 to connect to a MySQL database using the ODBC 3.51.17 drivers. If I try to do this within Access, the program crashes. If I do this in windows by trying to add a data source I get an error: [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on '192.168.60.19' (10061) Has anyone been successful at connecting to a MySQL databse with Access 2007? Plaindonut Posted August 15, 2007 Author Share Posted August 15, 2007 Running Windows XP. MySQL is not running on localhost. I have setup the MySQL user to grant all from any host and I am using port 3306. I also opened the MySQL port on iptables. Hope thats enough info to go on. Thanks for the reply!
