[SOLVED] variable in string

total noob but getting there sloooowly.

I have a simple php script which has variables passed to it.

what i want to do is be able to use that variable in another variable or literal string.

 

here is an example

variable comes from joomla so is called using

echo $params->get( 'keyword' )

 

I want to include that retrieved variable in another variable.

 

$string = "some other text or html + the variable (echo $params->get( 'keyword' )) then some more text

 

how do I do that?

thanks for that steer I had tried that but not with double quotes
