Cat
If I continue to get the Error #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'(using password: NO) message after going into the MySQL command line client and setting up a new user with full privileges able to access the database both locally and remotely then changing my config.inc.php file to that new user name and password does it mean that a different config file than the one I've altered is being read? keeB
Try restarting apache. This shouldn't change anything, but it's always worth a shot Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/64998-is-phpmyadmin-reading-my-configinc-file/#findComment-324384 Share on other sites
