I was developing this site: http://tv.mxr.at

When you take a look at the page you can see three main parts: The flvplayer, the infopanel and the videoslider at the bottom.

Now my idea is: Since this page is my portfolio/showcase I don't want to public display private or beta videos in the videoslider that the user can choose to play in the player. For public display I want to leave the site as it is.

But I was thinking of a subtle login box where users can login to see more (user-specific) videotabs in the videslider they can choose from. This is the point where I need help. I can design the login box, the videotabs etc. but I have no idea how the backend of a login box works and how I can use this to load user-specific html.

I was thinking of something like an xml file for each user where I keep the html to inject when this user logs in.

But I can't imagine the power and possibilities of php so I believe you have better ideas. :-)

I can pay some beers (a little amount like 25$ or something) for your help. If this is more complex than I think, please tell me.

tia, criuz
