I use notepad ++ for writing my docs, but i hate having to manually upload via copy paste using windows ftp (i'm on a windows machine so changing that isn't an option) anyone have any ideas of a program that can detect when a file has changed and auto ftp it on change? Or a good text edtior combining this for the price of free?

also how do i turn on line numebrs?

Go to View -> line numbers

There is also shortcut button to the right side of the screen where you can toggle it on/off. It is right to the left of the spell check and the picture of the lock.

Nevermind, looks like you found it as I was typing this. xD

Also, the only way it will save it to the FTP using CTRL+s, is if you double click the file in the list, rather than opening it from your computer.
