abdfahim
I got a local machine acting like server (many people can access on Drive D of that machine). Now I want to install php+mysql+Apache in that machine and hence host my website in that machine so that all people who have access to that machine can access my website. Is that possible? If possible, is the procedure is same as when I install in my PC? Plz answer me with some detail because I dont setup any server before. tippy_102
Setting up your own server is easy, but can feel intimidation at first. Download WAMP ( http://www.wampserver.com/en/ ) or XAMPP ( http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html ) and install. Most people here seem to use WAMP and there is even an entire board dedicated to installation of WAMP ( http://www.phpfreaks.com/forums/index.php/board,56.0.html ).
